BRS UNDERTAKES OUTREACH PROGRAMMES DUBBED: “BUSINESS FORMALIZATION 2-WEEKS RAPID ACTION CAMPAIGN”

On May 14 to June 6, 2024, the Service embarked on a public awareness and sensitization drive, dubbed “business formalization 2-weeks rapid action campaign” where we reached approximately one million Kenyans exposures through the various media platforms through on ground activation, radio informercials, distribution of Information Communication and Education materials and social media.
This initiative included traversing of the BRS roadshow caravan in the Counties of Nairobi, Kiambu, Machakos, Kajiado, Nyeri, Kisumu, Vihiga, Kakamega, Uasin Gishu, Kilifi and Mombasa, stops and personalized engagements in markets and trade centers and service provision in select Huduma Centres in Nyeri, Kisumu, Eldoret, Kilifi and Mombasa and financial institutions visitations to create awareness on the Movable Property Security Rights Registry. The Service also utilized mainstream media, with the infomercial airing on KBC English Service and Taifa Leo notifying the general public of our roadshow caravan and service provision in Huduma Centres.
A public notice was also issued during the commencement of this activity, dissemination of e-shots/posters on BRS social media assets and distribution of branded merchandize and Information Education Communication (IEC) materials.
The campaign was tailored with the purpose statement of the organization: to provide responsive business support services to our customers throughout their business life cycle.
